We want to thank everyone who supported us during our Call for Submissions. You helped us spread the word far and wide amongst your networks and think critically about our intention in this Call. This project is made possible in part by a grant from the Boston Foundation.
We received nearly 100 submissions. It was an incredible process to be introduced to a massive pool of composers and we feel inspired by their work.
Sofía Scheps and Evelin Ramón are the two composers who have been awarded to commission new works for Patchtax for the 2017-2018 season. They both deeply captured our imaginations and will push the boundaries of our work ever further. Meet Sofía and Evelin!
