We’ve been a tad busy here at patchtax headquarters, so our apologies, dear reader, for the delay in updates. The MANNA Singers concert on December 9th was SUPERB and an incredibly moving experience for everyone who came out to the Cathedral, even in the blustery snow. The reports back highlighted the special joy of performance for non-professional musicians and that the experience was a spiritual one for many among the choir and in the audience. We are so grateful to be apart of this loving, supportive community. Keep your eyes peeled – we will be posting video footage of the performance soon!
This Thursday is the winter solstice. The MANNA Singers have been invited to perform at the 28th National Annual Homeless Person Interfaith Memorial Service for those living on the street that we have lost this past year. In today’s rehearsal we prepared “Amazing Grace,” “Let It Be,” and “I’ll Fly Away.” This is an incredibly important event and we are honored to be apart of it. Here is the Facebook invite for more information.
