Excitement is building with the MANNA Singers’ concert date quickly approaching (Saturday December 9th, 4:00pm). The past two weeks of rehearsal have opened the doors to the first-ever solo features of the choir. On “This Little Light of Mine,” Michael
leads the verse “in my daily work, I’m going to let it shine” and John composed his own verse “all time, I’m going to let it shine.” On “Amazing Grace,” Jimmy has a breakout beat-box moment. Richie sings the first chorus on “Light One Candle.” Devin sings the bridge on “Country Roads.” Barbara Ann will sing the third verse on “Purple Rain.” And Brenda sweetly sings the second time through on “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” Recounting this list of incredible soloists is heartwarming – each individual is so unique and it’s such a huge accomplishment to stand up in front of the group and be heard and seen for who they are. I guess you’ll have to come to the concert on December 9th to hear and see for yourself…!
Sounds like you’ll have a fabulous concert! Wish I could be there
